As a value addition, the beneficiary of gift
cheque can invest the amount of the cheque in any of the Term
Deposit Schemes of the Bank and the Gift Cheque's issuance date
is given as effective date of the Term deposit.
Validity
Six months. However, revalidated for further 3 months.
