Srinagar, April 8: While continuing its
endeavour to support physically challenged and
downtrodden people of the State, J&K Bank under its
corporate social responsibility today donated sewing
machines to All J&K Association of Deaf and Dumb.
The machines were handed over to the members of the
Association by Mr. Abdul Rauf Fazili, Executive Director
of the Bank, at Corporate Headquarters. While
appreciating the role of the association, Mr. Abdul Rauf
Fazili said, “It is great to see the will and
determination of these physically challenged persons to
carve out their livelihood. It is our responsibility to
provide every kind of possible support to such disabled
persons so that they live a respectable life.” He
further said that providing assistance to the
Association would go a long way in contributing towards
the empowerment of these physically challenged people.
