Srinagar, June 18, 2007:
Carrying forward its plans of expansion as well
as consolidation of business in the state, J&K
Bank added eight more branches to its network
today. N. D. Samnani, President, Business
Support Division/ Customer Care inaugurated
three branches at Hyderbeigh Baramulla,
Khwajabagh Baramulla and Old Chowk
Kupwara.“Customer convenience as well as our
motto to empower people continue to remain our
top priorities. We are opening branches on
public demand and will continue to expand our
network,” Mr. Samnani said while inaugurating
Khwaja Bagh branch. An impressive gathering of
customers at Haiderbeigh, Baramulla conveyed
their gratitude to J&K Bank family for having
paid heed to their demand of opening a branch in
the area.People of Kupwara also hailed Bank’s
gesture to open second branch in Kupwara town
“to ease the rush and boost the business in the
area.”
Two branches at Khudwani and Kaddar in Anantnag
were inaugurated by Mr Nazir Ahmed Nowshehri,
Vice-President South Kashmir Zone.Meanwhile two
more branches in Noor Bagh and Khayam areas of
Srinagar district also started their operations
from today.
Yet another branch started its functioning at
Natpora, Budgam today.With the opening of these
eight new branches, the total branch strength of
the Bank has risen up to 538. Besides, Mr G M
Sahibzada, Vice-President South Jammu Zone,
dedicated an ATM to customers in Doda.
