Srinagar, July 10: J&K Bank today promoted 416 Associate Executives to
Executives cadre. The interviews for these promotions were conducted last
month. These promotions are a part of Naya Subha initiative launched by Bank
on April 1, 2007, wherein various measures have been outlined to achieve
satisfaction of the employees.
During the past two years, J&K Bank initiated a number of measures to
restructure and redesign strategies vis-à-vis business, Human Resources and
other subsidiary and allied activities of the bank. As a part of realignment
of the business strategy, the bank is giving a new dimension to its
workforce, so that they are able to meet the new challenges in a
professional way.
While commenting on the HR initiatives, Dr. Haseeb A Drabu, Chairman and
Chief Executive of the Bank said, "Through various employee oriented
measures we will achieve a real competitive advantage by nurturing our real
assets - our people. We are embarking on a journey that will culminate in
our organization being an 'employer of choice', not only in the state but
also in the country and the region."
