Srinagar, Dec 26:
The extension counter of J&K Bank at
Goshbugh Pattan in District Baramulla
has been up-graded as a full fledged
branch.
Mr. M A Pandav, Vice-president, North
Zone Kashmir inaugurated the branch here
today amid an extraordinary public
gathering.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pandav
urged the people to avail the benefits
of a wide range of innovative and
customer-centric products and services
offered by the Bank.
The up-dated banking services thus
provided are seen as a major relief for
the financial aspects of the local
business consisting mostly of
fruit-trade.
The people who had come from the
adjoining villages hailed the efforts of
the bank in up-grading the banking
facilities especially TT (fund transfers
through telephone). After the inaugural
function, public delegations from
Goshbug and its adjacent areas met the
Bank officials led by Mr Pandav and
conveyed their gratitude especially to
the honorable Chairman, Dr Haseeb Drabu
who, they said, had fulfilled his
commitment made to the people of Goshbug
and its adjoining villages.
Meanwhile, Anywhere Banking facility
would be introduced in the branch very
soon.
